I think workplaces should have mandatory naptime, even if it's just for 15 minutes. Sometimes I just need a little pick me upto get me through the day.

My Junior year Science teacher used to make me stand in the back of the room during class because he caught me dozing off so many times. It was well-deserved though, I admit it.

I would also at least smile at him. Guys can be total weenies when it comes to making moves, especially in this day and age (god I sound old). I have been on both ends and I've realized that life is far too short to sit and wait for someone to fall into your lap. And, just because you say hi first does not mean he can't still sweep you off your feet. You also don't know if he is thinking the same things about you, that you might have someone and he wants to avoid the awkwardness. Especially if he's been trounced by a stupid girl in the past, he'd be especially timid approaching (just casting out scenarios). So, in short, a simple smile isn't really a move, and you should totally do it.

Also, while I am not ready to be "on the prowl" just yet (still living with the ex... awkward), I happily volunteer to be your wingman should you need one. :)

this is so interesting, Kace! Sometimes I've felt that sleepy in class but have never actually fallen asleep and snap out of it quickly. The nutritionist in me wants to know more about your diet and what you're eating for breakfast/lunch. But also, since it has been a problem for so long, maybe it is related to your lady cycle? Hmmmm..

I haven't read those books yet. I don't want to read them, but then again I resisted the hunger games for months and then loved them. And you didn't seem to hate them.

Are they good-good or just a good read? I'm sure as a reader you know what I mean..and if you haven't already read it and want an AMESOME read, than read "Cutting for Stone." Best book I've read in a long time. It's a reader's book.

Oh lordy, well my first thought is, "Have a cup of coffee."

But since that's not how things work, then I would think about how you eat lunch. I used to eat sandwiches or salads filled with spinach and those things either made me sleeply (sandwich) or made my stomach feel like it was engaging in a battle. So I had to experiement, and now I realize a salad minus spinach (my stomach hates that raw stuff), or grilled veg's work. So just keep on experimenting with the lunches...most importantly mix up the veg and carbs as they both might be causing issues. And have a cup of coffee, or tea, if nothing else fails.

I think that's a fairly common thing that happens to some people after eating. I have a coworker who sleeps sitting up at his desk after meals most days. I hope that's it anyway!
